As advocates and ambassadors, the Leadership Council comprises mid-career professionals who promote The Eye-Bank's mission through outreach and fundraising efforts aimed at increasing awareness of the need for and benefits of eye donation.

Patrick Corbett, Chair
Mr. Corbett is the VP of Product at Icon Technology Studio. Previously, he has worked in the music industry as a performer, holding positions at major labels EMI and Universal, and in artist management at the independent label Yebo Music. Additionally, he has experience in entrepreneurship through his own digital agency Pogli Media, has worked in finance at Lehman Brothers and in restaurant management through ZMoore Restaurant Group. Mr. Corbett is engaged in various NYC community initiatives and programs, including the Young People's Chorus of NYC. He has been a member of The Eye-Bank’s Leadership Council since 2018.
Rucha Pandit, Secretary
Ms. Pandit is the Head of Digital and Insights for the Health & Life Sciences (HLS) vertical at Nagarro, a global consulting firm that focuses on providing digital and analytic solutions to Fortune 500 clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, finance and automotive industries. With nearly a decade of experience building a bridge between technology and business, she currently focuses on digital insights, marketing and operations within the HLS space. Ms. Pandit has a B.A. in Biology from Rutgers University and is currently an Executive MBA candidate at the NYU Stern School of Business.
Nathan Sheinfeld, Past-Chair
Mr. Sheinfeld is currently an Analyst with RVX Asset Management, an emerging-market focused hedge fund. He has had a close personal connection to The Eye-Bank since 1998, when he became a living eye donor as a young boy following an accidental injury to his eye. Subsequently, he served as a member of The Eye-Bank's Young Ambassador Program and following that has continued to be a strong advocate for eye, organ and tissue donation. He received his MBA from the University of Miami and his B.A. in Economics from Boston University.
Katya Geltser
Mrs. Geltser is a life science industry consultant specializing in business transformation, optimization, and strategy. She has successfully led large-scale projects, optimized processes, and developed strategic initiatives for global life sciences clients. Her expertise in generating business insights, change management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional team leadership makes her a valuable asset for driving complex projects to successful outcomes. Her past consulting experience includes work with West Monroe, Cognizant, Deloitte, and the Huron Consulting Group. She started her career managing technical & business operations at a medical diagnostics laboratory. Mrs. Geltser is an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, serving on their regional committees. She has a B.A. from Colgate University in Cellular Neuroscience with a minor in Economics.
Christian Gonzalez
Mr. Gonzalez is a Junior Architect at Macan Deve Engineers, focusing on sustainable design, storm resiliency, housing and alternative project delivery. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology in New York City. Mr. Gonzalez has experienced the sight-saving work of The Eye-Bank firsthand with a family history of the eye disease keratoconus and is himself a double cornea recipient. He is a grateful supporter and advocate of The Eye-Bank’s life-changing mission.
Eduardo Gonzalez
Mr. Gonzalez is a Regional Revenue Analyst at Anheuser-Busch InBev. Previously, he operated and founded Classysavant LLC, a social media marketing company focusing on paid media, consulting and content creation for Automotive, Tourism, Luxury Timepieces and CPG brands. Mr. Gonzalez holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Additionally, he is a cornea transplant recipient and shares his story at community events to raise awareness about the importance of eye donation. Alyssa Greenberg
Alyssa Greenberg is a freelance photographer based in the Greater New York area, specializing in fashion, celebrity, lifestyle, and reportage. Her work has been featured in WWD, Vogue Business, and other notable publications. Ms. Greenberg previously served as the Team Photographer for the Boston Celtics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Syracuse University. As a four-time cornea transplant recipient, Ms. Greenberg has shared her personal story at community events to raise awareness about the transformative power of eye donation.
Marsha-Ann Hay
Ms. Hay was born in Kingston, Jamaica West Indies and moved to New York in 2016. An actor, her credits include theatrical productions and short films, such as Ring Games, Betrayal of a Nation, Royal Palm Estate and Ray Cooney’s Run for Your Wife as well as audiobooks and digital ads. She has previously served as a broadcaster, production manager, business development executive and sole proprietor of Talented Marshay Productions. She received a B.A. in Spanish from the University of the West Indies. As a double cornea transplant recipient, Ms. Hay is a passionate advocate for eye donation and has shared her story at special events.
Nicole Madison
Ms. Madison is a Senior Director in Corporate Communications at FTI Consulting, focusing on internal communications as well as Human Capital and Corporate Citizenship driven initiatives. She received her B.A. in Media Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. In addition to The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration, Ms. Madison has served on the national advisory council of the A Better Chance, Inc. and as a board member of Imani House, both local NYC nonprofit organizations. She is also a passionate volunteer with several charities and causes across New York City.
Andrew Nordquist
Mr. Nordquist is the Head of Technology Infrastructure for the Americas at Schroders. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Technology at Ciox Health and was the Enterprise Computing Director at the New York Genome Center. He attended the University of Scranton and Hofstra University for his undergraduate work, focusing on Computer Information Systems. In addition to his work with the Council, Mr. Nordquist is a donor family member, volunteer firefighter, and a longtime supporter of The Eye-Bank’s Young Ambassador Scholarship in Memory of Christopher Nordquist.
Joseph O'Hagan
Mr. O’Hagan is the New York City Territory Sales Manager at Corza Medical, a leading provider of medical devices and biosurgery around the world. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Corza’s Inside Sales Representative. Before moving into the biotech industry Mr. O’Hagan worked with Paycom as a Sales Representative and the PCS Research Group as an Account Executive. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Ileana Quinones
Mrs. Quinones is the founder of Quinones Corporation, which includes ARTISANS OF IQ, a woman-led accessory brand focused on sustainability, social impact and preserving the ancient handmade techniques of indigenous artisans in Southeast Asia. She was previously a Senior Buyer and Business Development Director at Bounty Corporation and an Event and Public Relations Director with Hong Kong-based fashion designer Vivienne Tam. Mrs. Quinones is a graduate of Berkeley College and has personal experience with both donation and transplantation. Her father was a heart transplant recipient and became an eye donor when he passed away years later. Isaiah Rodriguez
Mr. Rodriguez is a Territory Manager at Corza Medical, where he leads surgical sales efforts across Northern New Jersey, the Bronx, Staten Island and New York State. He previously managed Corza territories across New England. Mr. Rodriguez’s earlier experience includes roles at UniFirst Corporation, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and Sprint. Mr. Rodriguez earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Retail Merchandising, Marketing and Management from Montclair State University.
George Ruiz
Mr. Ruiz is a criminal investigator with New York's Westchester County Police Department, where he specializes in violent crimes, special victims and fatal automotive accidents. He is a veteran of the United States Army and volunteers his time to charitable causes throughout New York. Mr. Ruiz is both a donor family member and a recipient family member and has been an Eye-Bank supporter and advocate of eye, organ and tissue donation since 2003. His father-in-law received a heart transplant and became an eye donor upon his passing years later.
Nicholas Ugarte
Mr. Ugarte is a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, focused on guiding professionals and their families toward achieving financial freedom through tailored strategies and comprehensive planning. He previously served as a Financial Advisor at UBS. Mr. Ugarte holds a Bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Samantha Torres
Ms. Torres is the General Manager of Rolf Spectacles US, focusing on distribution, operations, and brand expansion for North America. She previously served as the Associate Manager of Operations at ic! berlin a German luxury eyewear company. Ms. Torres received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature from SUNY Plattsburgh in New York.
Sue Ureña Aponte
Ms. Ureña is a Care Manager with Tri County Care in Albany, where she supports individuals navigating complex mental health and medical needs. She previously worked at Rehabilitation Support Services as a Care Manager and Acuitas Health as a Healthcare Business and Validation Analyst. Ms. Ureña holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. She is also a proud mother of three boys, including her son Austin—a cornea recipient whose inspiring story was featured in one of The Eye-Bank’s testimonial videos.
