2025 Spring Benefit ~ Karaoke Night for Sight

On Tuesday, May 20, The Eye-Bank of New York hosted an unforgettable Spring Benefit ~ Karaoke Night for Sight, and our community truly rocked the house! The evening was filled with joyful, high-energy performances ranging from the Beatles to The Darkness, proving that our supporters can sing with as much heart as they give.

Co-Chairs Rocio Sanz and Robert Cykiert, M.D. kicked off the night by welcoming guests and celebrating the power of our community’s sight-saving mission. Then, in full costume and full spirit, Dr. Cykiert electrified the room with a rousing rendition of AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long.”

As DJ Wes kept the music rolling, guests enjoyed an exceptional culinary experience curated by Executive Chef Manuel and the team from Il Mulino. To cap it off, Board Member Umber Ahmad’s renowned Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery delighted everyone with exquisite desserts, including her famous vanilla brioche doughnuts.

Between power ballads and duets, guests browsed the silent auction, featuring: stunning jewelry from Leadership Council member Ileana Quinones Ruiz’s Artisans of IQ line, NY Jets vs. Steelers game tickets, a luxurious two-night stay at The Wall Street Hotel, wine excursions on the North Fork, Premium Broadway tickets, designer Rolf sunglasses and much more!

It was a truly incredible evening filled with laughter, generosity, and unforgettable tunes.
