For such a long time the world around me was blurred and hazy, but now everything is crisp and beautiful.
Before I had the cornea transplant surgery, my eyesight was 20/200 and now it is 20/30 thanks to a donor. Without the transplant, I would not have a second chance at living a life that brings me great joy.
I remember being so afraid to embrace life and was very depressed because I could not accomplish simple everyday occurrences, like recognizing my friends when they approached me, but not now. Once again I am able to live life to its fullest and I feel indebted to my donor who made it possible for me to see again.
