Professional Education
The Professional Education program was designed
to work with our dedicated health care professionals in the greater
metropolitan New York area, including New York City, Long Island
and the lower Hudson Valley. The program provides a way for The
Eye-Bank and the health care community to share and discuss educational
information, donation and transplant statistics.
Our success over the years has been made possible
with the help and cooperation of these dedicated health care professionals.
They attend our education programs, refer potential donors, and
some provide a final act of caring to families by offering them
the option of donation. By referring potential donors and by providing
medical history information, they are a crucial link in the sight
restoration process.
