9th A Live Auction and Wine Tasting
Mark your calendars! The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration will host our 9th A Live Auction and Wine Tasting on April 3, 2012 at the beautifully renovated Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association. We are currently seeking auction items that fit with our wine theme, including: restaurant gift certificates, rare wines, weekend escapes or special events such as tickets to cultural or sports events. These are all a perfect match as they pair well with enjoying a glass of wine. Arrange for a donation from your favorite wine shop, schmooze with your favorite restaurant manager or ask your friends for an item for our upcoming auction.

Throughout the year, The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration conducts special activities to help increase awareness about the need for eye donation as well as to help raise funds for the organization’s ongoing public and professional education programs.

Friends for Sight Night
On October 26th, 2011 the Junior Council hosted its first fundraiser, Friends for Sight Night at the Salmagundi Club. The Lower Gallery of the Club was alive with the hum of conversation, clicking of billiard balls and peals of laughter as old friends and new spent a relaxing evening learning more about The Eye-Bank’s sight-restoring mission.

65th Anniversary Educational Conference - An Eye on the Future
The Eye-Bank’s second An Eye on the Future held on September 28, 2010 in New York City at the Down Town Association in celebration of our 65th Anniversary was a terrific success with approximately 70 attendees present representing non-profit organizations in both anatomical donation and other fields of service. The audience was made up of national and international non-profit leaders.

Inaugural Swing for Sight
The Eye-Bank continued to celebrate our 65th anniversary by hosting our first ever Swing for Sight golf tournament on September 20th 2010 at the prestigious Tuxedo Club located in Tuxedo, NY. 7th Annual Live Auction and Wine Tasting
