The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration Inc., the world’s first eye bank, celebrates its 60th anniversary with a Colloquium that will examine cultural, ethical and medical issues of anatomical donations, as well as take an introspective look at how eye, organ and tissue organizations earn the public’s trust and demonstrate fiscal accountability.

 

This continuing medical education activity is jointly sponsored by The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration and has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This educational activity has been designated for a maximum of 11 hours of Category I Credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
