Robert Bazell, NBC News' Chief Science Correspondent, is an outstanding journalist whose reports appear on NBC Nightly News, Today and Dateline NBC. He has received numerous awards including Emmys, the George Foster Peabody Award, the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award and the Maggie Award. In his career with NBC News, he has reported on a wide range of subjects in the areas of science, technology and medicine from throughout the United States and around the world. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. degree in biochemistry. He did graduate work in biology at the University of Sussex, England, and was awarded a doctoral candidate degree in immunology at Berkeley. |

Mary Alice Williams’ investigative work on foreign policy, ethics, technology and health has made her a highly-acclaimed broadcast journalist. Ms. Williams brings an impressive history to her current roles at WCBS 880 and the Discovery Health Channel. She launched CNN’s New York Bureau in 1980 and served as its principal anchor and Vice President until 1989. During her tenure with NBC from 1989 to 1993, she was the first woman to win a national Emmy Award for anchoring NBC Nightly News. She has hosted several series on health for the Discovery Health Channel, Lifetime Television, PBS, ABC, and Hearst TV. Ms. Williams holds a B.A. in English and Mass Communications from Creighton University. |

She has over 30 years experience in marketing and advertising and served 12 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Advertising Council. She serves on several boards and has received numerous business and philanthropic awards. Ms. Wooden holds a B.A. in sociology and history from the University of Minnesota and an honorary doctorate from Northeastern University. |
